im looking into getting into 3d would this be a good start?

  2. Atomicskull says:

That battery is worth more like $10-20, also the chargers that come with RTF kits are junk and will slowly kill your batteries. You really need a computerized charger if you want to keep your batteries healthy.

  3. Atomicskull says:

Align is coming out with an RTF package called the Trex 450 Plus that’s basically a hybrid of the Pro and Sport V2 but with a plastic frame and some plastic head parts for about the same price as the Blade 450 3D.

  16. Scientist12345678910 says:

how do you kill the motor remotely?

  17. WildPilot300 says:

hey it really is best to start off with a simulator first, so that you can understand RC helis. The worst thing to do is assume you are able to flya 3D one, and then a crash would cost you hundreds, even this could deter your love for rc flying. You can get Phoenix simulator or Realflight simulator, then probably if you wish to buy a real heli, the a HoneyBee King is a good choice for a first heli.

Im not trying to pull you off, this is just from experience!

    i want one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You should start out with a msr, or msrx. Then go MVP x, then the 450, or 450x. Trust me, unless you have a simulator you can start on a mcp x, then this one. Unlike rc cars you have to have very fast stick movements to be able to hover. You could start on a mcp x if you have extra $ for replacement parts. Then if you really like the flybarless go with the 450 x or just the 450. I currently have a mcp x and I don’t see a huge difference in flybarless. But that’s my recomendation

hey i was looking to get into rc helicopters. i do cars and trucks stuff but have never flown. i really dont want to start with a little very tiny helicopter. i would like one that can do 3D. i have seen a few and was wondering if the blade 450 3D would be a good one to start with. i have also seen the blade mcp-x. so if you could help me make a decision it would be much appreciated thanks.

  21. MattyZed says:

Nice review, best one I’ve seen. I have a 120SR and an mCPX, and think I’m ready for one of these bad boys now!

  22. RCHobbiesandMore says:

no, you would want an mcx after a cx2, and then a 120sr, sr, and then 450

  23. rcflightschool says:

Well…I think its a bit more than a step up, maybe like 2-3….but hey, its cool

  24. bigmikie says:

WOULD THIS BE A GOOD STEP UP FROM THE BLADE CX2
